Using an Electrical Junction Box to Hide Treasures

Using an Electrical Junction Box to Hide Treasures

A customer asked if we could think of a simple way to stash valuables in their outdoor living area. What came to mind was the time we spent with our kids “playing” geocaching.  We all had so much fun trying to find the hidden messages sequestered away in such clever places.  Finding the hidden treasure was a real treat and the difficulty of actually finding a thing even when one has clues as to what to look for reminded me of how effective camouflage is in hiding-in-plain-sight.

Enjoy the short video, and remember to respect electricity.  Don’t open electrical junction boxes or store anything in a functioning junction box..

How clever. Another hide-in-plain-sight place might be an irrigation junction box, the kind that you burry in the lawn with the green lid. Of course, the items would have to be very carefully waterproofed and not edible at all lol 😉
