09 Nov A Design Solution for a Wet Backyard
Water is as essential to growing plants as sunshine, but too much water can be a challenge. Here in the Pacific Northwest it can rain on occasion, but we occasionally encounter a customer with a perennially wet yard. The slide show featured in this blog post is an example of a house build very near a spring or an artesian well or some other source of continual all-season wetness. This one Nancy addressed with a combination of regrading the yard as well as planting lots of water-loving plants.
