09 Jan The Many Uses of a Leaf Blower
So, we broke a corner off from a customers siding while operating a machine during a recent project. Whoops. Well, it’s a good thing we’ve got so much carpentry experience, fixing it is going no be drama-free. Yes, even though the house is clad with the dreaded and now out-of-production asbestos cement tile siding, I’ve done many permanent pairs to exterior architectural features by using the auto body polyester resin filler: Bondo. However, this endeavour is happening in January and the thermometer is hitting daytime highs of 36f. It’s during this effort I learn what I could have very likely could have informed myself by reading the (impossibly small) instructional text on the can of filler- It won’t harden at those temperatures. So I warm the small portion of the planet just enough to get the Bondo to harden.
Watch the video to see how it gets done.
