This past weekend, Nancy and Chloe ran a 10K race in Chelan, Washington.

It was a nice get-away for the family.  We stayed at an older resort that had suite-style rooms where Chloe was able to have the benefit of a door to shield her from the snores that (allegedly) emanate from one of the other family members.  We don’t need to name names.

Nancy coordinated the stay with a west coast visit by my Dad and his wife, also a Nancy Fasoldt.  Nancy also cleverly coordinated the event with our next-door neighbors who were also running the marathon version of the event.  Where were their rooms at the same resort we were staying at?  Go ahead and guess.  Print your reply in the comments section.

We had a great time.  The ladies had an opportunity to run their race in the driving rain, kind of a rare treat for Chelan.  Chloe was awarded a prize for finishing third place in her class!  They weren’t too zonked after the run and they spent some quality time in the hot tub later that morning.  We wrapped-up the weekend with an improvised BBQ at the resort.
