Greetings gentle readers, it’s been a while since I’ve put index-finger-to-keyboard.

Stump as big as all three of us combined

The directions are so elemental as to be off-putting.

Step one: dig around tree stump.

Step two: chop-away at roots.

Step three: repeat steps one through two until stump is free from its earthen home.
